Silent River Kung Fu Fight Club

The road to Black Belt can be riddled with pitfalls and motivation traps that make it difficult for a martial artist to maintain focus and follow a plan. Through healthy individual and team competition, the Silent River Kung Fu San Shou class's Fight Club provides weekly and long-term goals to help develop the necessary training discipline and leadership skills required to achieve the rank of Black Belt. Fight Club's weekly competitions will cover a vast spectrum of events including: Point Sparring, Continuous Sparring, Forms, Fitness, Written Assignments, Grappling, Attendance, Board Breaking, and many other intangibles.

The Silent River Kung Fu Fight Club schedule is divided into three trimesters consisting of September to December, January to April, and May to August. Based upon total points earned, an individual winner is declared after each trimester with the three trimester champions competing for the overall championship at the end of the season. Members earn bonus points based upon their team's overall performance so teamwork and dedication are absolutely necessary. At the end of the season, a championship team will be declared.
